1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account info: email address, display name, and (optionally) avatar — provided directly by you or via Google sign-in.
Content you create: lyrics, prompts, survey answers, generated songs, album art, and audio uploads.
Payment info: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain Stripe customer/subscription IDs and purchase metadata.
Audit logs: when you accept purchase terms, we record your user ID, email, product, price, IP address, user agent, and timestamp for fraud and dispute resolution.
Usage data: basic logs (page views, errors, generation events) used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process payments and enforce subscription/credit limits.
To generate songs by sending your prompts/lyrics to AI providers (Suno, ElevenLabs, Google Gemini).
To respond to support requests via our AI support agent.
To detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and resolve payment disputes.
To send transactional emails (account, billing, password resets).

3. Third-Party Processors

We share only the data necessary for these providers to perform their function:

Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
Suno (via kie.ai) — AI music generation.
ElevenLabs — speech-to-text transcription for lyric sync.
Google Gemini — AI text and album-art generation.
Lovable — application hosting.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Account data, songs, and acknowledgement logs are kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your songs and personal profile within 30 days. Payment and audit-trail records may be retained longer where required by law or for fraud-prevention purposes.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use session cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in and to remember UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this directly from your profile page, or contact us via the in-app support chat to make a formal request.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, encrypted storage, row-level security on the database) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
